Junior Product Manager - LED Commercial Indoor Fixtures and Professional products

Tasks

Role Summary/Purpose
Support the Senior Indoor Product Manager to maximise short and mid-term profitability, increase market share and drive fast growth for the LED Commercial Indoor Fixtures and other Professional Lighting products covered by the role. For selected sub-product categories, the Junior PM will have full ownership of the range,
and he/she will be responsible to lead all necessary actions that ensures competitive and compliant product
portfolio to the EMEA market.

Essential Responsibilities
Support the Senior Indoor Fixture Product Manager to manage the above product ranges for the whole Europe and MEAT region and contribute to establish the right product strategy o Maintain and keep up-to-date the product database, product documentations, product data sheets, e-catalogues

  • Support New Product Introductions with product presentations, training materials
  • Manage SKU listings, product sampling

For the product ranges owned by the Junior PM (with the support of Senior PM)

  • Collect New Product needs from Commercial, benchmarking, identify products critical for the portfolio, work with Technology team to manage NPI programs and product introduction to the market
  • Work with Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure full customer awareness of the relevant product range, maximize sales and margin opportunities, understand customer needs and market trends
  • Managing the Price / Margin equation to maximize SM
  • Ensure that product ranges meet relevant regulatory requirements both technical and packaging standpoint
  • Working with technology and sourcing teams to identify actions in order to improve product cost and profitability
  • Work closely with the Sourcing and Supply Chain team to deliver inventory, fill rate, service levels and reduce excess inventory

Requirements

  • University Diploma, Degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline with good lighting or related technical knowledge and /or University Degree in Economics
  • Minimum 2yrs of work experience in Commercial / Product Management field
  • Fluent English is a must, other European language is an advantage
  • Hungarian laguage is an advantage
  • Able to work with cross functional teams in the pursuit of common business goals
  • Able to work proactively, identify new ideas
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Experience and knowledge of sales/marketing practices is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills (ability and willing to get into the detail)
  • Able to understand and communicate technical data to sales people and customers
  • Good interpersonal,communicational; negotiation skills
  • Energetic, outgoing personality
  • Creative thinking and good problem solving skills
  • Technical knowledge is preferred though not essential
  • Has the ability to get things done, in a tenacious/assertive manner yet is team-driven
