Role purpose:

    Working within the Digital Sales team this role is responsible for briefing and overseeing the online delivery of handset and accessory launches, as well as changes including pricing and promotions for consumer customers. They will pro-actively identify and drive on-site change to improve conversion to support the Digital Sales team to meet their overall commercial objectives.

What you will do:

  • Create the digital brief for new handset launches including pricing and promotions for small business customers
  • Brief and manage third parties where required
  • Proactive identification of on-page site improvements to increase quality and drive conversion of online sales
  • Interact with cross functional departments
  • Act as key point of contact for Digital Catalogue testing and release scheduling, reporting defects and relevant associated documentation
  • Report back to the business on RAG status and work with Digital Planning Specialist to prioritise where there are clashes in resource or delivery
  • Responsible for accurate and timely briefing of Digital Production on new handset launches and key point of contact for sign off at launch

Requirements:

  • Strong English language knowledge is required both written and oral
  • 1-2 years of Digital Merchandising field (eCommerce)
  • Strong communication skills and proactive attitude is a must
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and back-end process for stock control, device launches and pricing
  • Strong Excel, VBA and basic HTML knowledge is an advantage
  • Project management experience is an advantage
